Good Evening La Promesa Families. Wednesday August 3rd is the first day of school for our Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Students can begin arriving at school at 8:35 and classes start at 8:50. All Wednesdays are early release days with students being dismissed at 12:40. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays dismissal is at 4:00. We are all looking forward to seeing our students on the 3rd, and hope all families can make it to our Back to School at 5:30 on the 2nd.

Good Morning La Promesa Families. Today is the last day of our 2021-22 school year. It has been a great year, and we thank you for all your support. Today is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:40. The first day for students next year is August 3rd. We hope everyone enjoys the summer vacation.

We will also be celebrating our 6th grade students promotion to Middle School. Families are welcome to join us at 9:30 in the gym for our assembly. Hello La Promesa families. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Students took home a paper with their teachers' likes and interests. Good Morning La Promesa Families. Socorro County gave our school many COVID-19 at-home test kits. These kits will expire in June, so we are sending them home for families to use before they expire. Good Morning. The Fire Department has said that our school is safe from the fire burning in the Jarales area at this time. Good Evening La Promesa Families. Tomorrow, Monday April 4th, the New Mexico Measures of Student Success and Achievement testing begins. These assessments will be given to students in grades 3 to 6. Our third graders will be testing on Monday the 4th and Tuesday the 5th. Our 4th graders will test on Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th. Our 5th and 6th graders will begin testing the following week. It is important that students be to school on time ready to do their best on these important assessments. Grades 3rd to 6th will start the NM Measures of Student Success and Achievement (MSSA) next week, It is important that students be at school on time and ready to show what they know with these important assessments.
