September 7, 2021 Confirmed Case of COVID-19: Belen Consolidated Schools has confirmed a student and an employee at Belen Middle School in Belen, NM have tested positive for COVID-19. There were no close contacts. All the appropriate steps as per NMPED guidance has been completed. BMS Families: BMS student picture day will be Thursday, September 9th. Students will take their picture during their Social Studies class. Please bring completed order form with cash, card or check on picture day. If you have been sent home to quarantine, you can take your picture during retakes. We will let you know when retakes will be. Picture forms will be sent home with students this week. I am also attaching the link on the BMS webpage where the form can be located. Thank you! There were close contacts for one employee. All close contacts have been informed. The 2nd employee had no close contacts. All the appropriate steps as per NMPED guidance has been completed.
