Good Evening La Promesa Families. We are excited to have many of our students back in the building on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays starting tomorrow April 6th. Students can be dropped off at 8:50 and dismissal is at 3:30. Students and staff are required to wear a mask at all times and to maintain social distancing. Please have students bring a water bottle, and students in grades 1st to 6th will need to bring their school-issued devices with them. Visitors are not allowed on campus at this time. We thank our families for understanding and helping us keep our community safe.

Hello La Promesa Families. We are very sorry to announce that the COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled to be held here at La Promesa this Friday March 12th  has been canceled. It is not going to be rescheduled. We are sorry to share this news.

Good Afternoon.  For our students who will be coming in to the building for learning next week, please remember that you must wear a mask at all times and maintain a six foot social distance. January 24, 2021 Confirmed Case of COVID-19: Belen Consolidated Schools has confirmed an employee at La Promesa Elementary School in Belen, NM has tested positive for COVID-19. There were no close contacts and all areas the employee was in have been deep cleaned. All the appropriate steps as per NMPED guidance has been completed. If you feel you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please contact the Department of Health Coronavirus Hotline at 1-855-600-3453. If you have any concerns, please call the district at (505) 966-1271.
Hello La Promesa Families. Belén Consolidated Schools employees will begin receiving their COVID vaccines on Thursday January 14th. Our office will be closed that afternoon for staff to receive the vaccine. Also, teachers will not be having live classes, but will have student assignments on their Schoology page. Thank you. 
Good morning La Promesa Families. We currently are experiencing a power outage in our area. At this time, we do not know when the power will restored, and our online classes are postponed for the time being. We apologize for the inconvenience and are hoping to be back in class as soon as possible.

Good morning La Promesa families and welcome to the second semester of the school year. Our bus drivers will be delivering meals today at their regular scheduled times. Online instruction will resume tomorrow, January 5th. Please check your child's teacher's Schoology page for the schedules. We welcome Ms. Porsha Rimorin as our new Art teacher.
