Hello Parents, Good news, our North Lot should be fixed in two weeks. We want to thank you so much for the patience you have had this year with our pick up process and getting your child to you safely. For the time being and to help the traffic on Jarales road in the afternoon, we will start using the dirt road and dirt lot for Single rider pick ups. (Like last year). Will will use the inner loop of the parking lot for now. Please remain in your vehicle and follow the flow of traffic single file. You must have a pick up card issued from the school visible in your car prior to us releasing your child. Single pick ups will be in the north parking lot line take the first right, the dirt road into the parking lot. Siblings will be picked up together in the south parking lot line. For morning drop off please use both lines, it doesn't matter what line you are in the morning. We will start this today, Monday the 25th.

Good morning Eagle Families, As education continues to evolve, it is imperative that we ensure our assessment methods align with the best interests of our students and the broader goals of their education. In recent years, there has been a growing recognition within the educational community about the potential impact of grading practices on student motivation, learning outcomes, and overall well-being. The educators in Belen Consolidated Schools, are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for our students. Thus, BCS is forming a committee that will critically examine our grading policies and recommend potential improvements. Eventually, the committee will involve various stakeholders, including teachers, students, parents, and administrative staff, to gather diverse perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses of our current grading practices. To assist us in getting the process started please take the time to fill out this short 5 question survey, which will provide us with needed data. The survey can be accessed by using this link: https://forms.office.com/r/Hi7NDbcTrQ

Good evening families. We are very excited to see you all tomorrow. Here are some reminders to help our first day go as smoothly as possible. School starts at 8:41. Dismissal is at 3:19. We are currently down to one drop off and pick up line. For AM drop off we ask that you please remain in your car and follow the flow of traffic for your child to unload. If you have a kindergarten student we understand how exciting this day is. You will be allowed to park and walk your child to the front gate where you will meet your child's teacher to say your goodbyes. Use the front field as needed for additional parking. After tomorrow we ask that you remain in your car and get them used to being dropped off. The kinder teachers will be out there waiting for them all week. We will have plenty of staff on duty to help all students find their way to breakfast and class from the busses or the drop off line. For PM pick up, we ask that ALL parents remain in their vehicles and follow the flow of traffic. YOU MUST PRESENT YOUR GREEN PICK UP CARD TO THE DUTY PERSON. We will be out there issuing them in the AM and the PM in the car line. Please be patient with us as we do our best to ensure your child's safety. Thanks for your cooperation in advance in helping us establish these routines.

Good evening, Eagle Families, As we prepare for the start of school, we ask for your patience if you registered your student to ride the bus for this school year. It is part of District regulations that your student's bus driver make contact with the parent to make sure the parent understands where and when their student will be picked up by the bus. Our drivers are working hard to contact the parents before the start of school tomorrow. However, we have had a large number of parents who registered their students today for bus pickup and drop-off. if you have not yet talked to your bus drive, you will need to provide transportation for your student until your bus driver is able to make contact with you. If you have questions, please call our transportation department at 505-966-1176.
