Good evening BMS Families: We will be holding our 2nd round of Scholar Led Conferences, Thursday February 15th and Friday, February 16th. Conferences are being held with your scholars' student development teacher. Your child's student development teacher should have already been in contact with you regarding an appointment time. If they have not, please contact them OR you can call the front office to schedule a conference time. We had a 70% participation rate last time and our goal is to reach 100% this time around! We will be offering our FREE tutoring on Wednesday, February 14th ONLY this week.
Scholars will have an early release day on Thursday, February 15th. Dismissal will be at 12:10 pm. There will be NO SCHOOL for scholars both Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. Have a great evening!

Scholars who are not wearing their IDs will be given lunch detention starting tomorrow. We have been letting scholars know the past few weeks before break that this will be the consequence for not wearing their student IDs in the hope that they will make sure they have one by January 8th. Attention students and parents of the Belen Middle School Eagle Band Program.
The Beginner and Intermediate Bands will perform in Concert on Tuesday Evening, December 12. The concert will be at the Belen Middle School Cafeteria starting at 6 PM. Students who are performing should wear all black. The Beginner Band will perform first and will be followed by the Intermediate Band.
Beginner Band students will have a rehearsal on Monday, December 11, immediately after school. This rehearsal will be at the middle school. This rehearsal is very important as it is the only time that the three beginner classes are able to rehearse together. Students who ride the bus will need to make arrangements on how they will get home. The rehearsal should be over by around 3:30 PM and students should be picked up from school at that time. Thank you!
