Belen Middle School Families! As we approach the end of the 2023-2024 school year, here are a few reminders: We will not be offering tutoring for the remainder of the school year. May 13th and May 14th- Student Technology check in. This will go through Social Studies classes. Please make sure your scholar bring their laptop, charger, and lap top case.. A fee will be assigned for any unreturned items. May 27th: No School in observance of Labor Day May 28th and May 29th: Early Release days. Scholars will be released at 12:10 pm. May 29th: Last day of school This has been an AMAZING school year! I hope everyone has an enjoyable and restful summer break!

This is a mental health resource for parents and provides parents a trusted place to go for real answers, to find support and real help for their children. This FREE resource offers parents access to licensed therapists delivering different courses for parents on topics like living with a child with depression, identifying anxiety, coping with grief and loss. Belen Middle School Families: A friendly reminder that students will not be released for early check-out after 1:30 pm. Also, a photo ID is required at all times for early check out. Please remember we can only release students to people who are listed as parents/guardians or emergency contacts for your students. If you need to make any changes to those contacts, please come into the office and we will be happy give you a form to complete. BMS Families: All 8th graders have completed their next step plans in the last 2 days and have brought it home for parents/guardians to sign. During their next class Social Studies class, they will be registering for their High School classes using their "next step" plan. Any student who does not have it with them will not be able to register for 9th grade classes. Please remind your scholar to double check that they have their papers signed and, in their backpacks, to bring it back to school. Thank you!

BMS: Belen Middle School Families: Belen Middle School has lifted the lock down. The campus is clear and all scholars are safe in their 4A classes.

Belen Middle School Families: We will be conducting a technology test tomorrow, March 22nd, 2024. Please make sure your scholar brings their laptop tomorrow fully charged. Also, please remember the 8th grade field trip to Belen High School is tomorrow to tour the campus. Field trip permission forms were due today. This is a walking field trip so please make sure your scholar wears comfortable clothing and shoes. We will be leaving BMS at 8:00 am and will be returning by lunch time. Thank you!

BMS staff just a reminder the staff parking lot will be closed today. You need to enter the campus through the east side. The gate will be open for you to park in the back until further notice. Please do not enter through the bus lane. Thank you.

Good evening BMS Families: We will be holding our 2nd round of Scholar Led Conferences, Thursday February 15th and Friday, February 16th. Conferences are being held with your scholars' student development teacher. Your child's student development teacher should have already been in contact with you regarding an appointment time. If they have not, please contact them OR you can call the front office to schedule a conference time. We had a 70% participation rate last time and our goal is to reach 100% this time around! We will be offering our FREE tutoring on Wednesday, February 14th ONLY this week. Scholars will have an early release day on Thursday, February 15th. Dismissal will be at 12:10 pm. There will be NO SCHOOL for scholars both Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. Have a great evening!
