BMS Families: Belen Middle School will be celebrating spirit week the week of September 30th-October 4th! The spirit days will be as follows: Monday- Dynamic Duo Tuesday- Sports/Jersey Day Wednesday- Eagle Pride- 7th grade wear maroon/8th grade wear white Thursday- Pink Out-Everyone wears pink Friday- Teacher and Student Swap Dress Day Dress code will be enforced. BMS Families: Reminder that FREE after-school tutoring will be offered starting this week! ! Math tutoring will be offered every Tuesday, from 2:30-4:30 pm. ELA, Science, and Social Studies tutoring will be offered on Thursdays, from 2:30-4:30 pm. If your scholar needs additional help in any subject area, please have them attend. Transportation is not provided. Thank you!

Good afternoon, To follow-up on our previous message. The only information that we have is that there are postings on social media saying that there will be shootings at each one of our sites. We have not found any proof that these threats are true. We are working with Belen PD. They will have an officer posted at each school site tomorrow. Again, we have no information other than what I have shared.

Good afternoon, There has been a rash of messages on social media regarding the possibility of a school shooting happening tomorrow at all BCS sites including one that is no longer in existence. I want to assure you that we take all such reports seriously no matter how farfetched they may seem. In working with Belen PD, we have found no evidence to substantiate these claims. We will continue to remain on alert. If you become aware of any new information please share with Belen PD.

BMS Families: If your scholar has not yet received a student laptop, please sign the “BCS Student Laptop Assurances” form and have them return it tomorrow. It is important that each scholar has a device. If they need another form, please have them come to the office for one. Thank you!

BMS Families! Exciting News for the 2024-2025 school year! Belen Middle School will have a cross country team!! Pre-season will begin July 15th . Belen High School boys will be having a kid's camp in June. Coaches and players will be teaching fundamental skills to our youth that attend. Each camper will receive a basketball and there will be fun games for the kids and awards.

Spirit Week Events Tuesday: BBQ Dad *VS* Soccer Mom. Wednesday: Country *VS* Country Club (Country western wear or golf/tennis attire) Thursday: Adam Sandler Day Friday: Hawaiian Out Day (Tropical Day will cost $1 to attend. There will be water events so bring a towel in your backpack) There will be a Cotton Candy Concession so bring money. Also, 7th Grade yearbooks will be handed out during lunch and 8th grade during 8th Grade BBQ. on Tuesday. Thank you!
