The New Mexico Public Education Department is excited to offer students across the state FREE year-long access to the Rally Reader app, with more than 50,000 digital books available anytime, anywhere.
Whether at home, traveling, or enjoying summer break, students can keep building strong reading habits and exploring books they love. From picture books to chapter books, Rally Reader makes reading fun, accessible, and engaging for all learners.
This initiative reflects NMPED’s commitment to accelerating literacy and supporting students beyond the classroom—building the Power of Progress, one book at a time.
Parents and Guardians are encouraged to visit rallyreadernewmexico.com to download the app today.

All students in New Mexico have FREE access to more than 50,000+ books, support while reading, and daily formative data on reading progress on Rally Reader this summer. NMPED has fully funded Rally Reader and your families have unlimited access to the world’s best books on any device. Students just need to claim the accounts.

As we wrap up another wonderful school year, I want to sincerely thank all of our families for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership throughout the year. It has been a privilege to work with your scholars, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished. This is a reminder that Wednesday, May 20th and Thursday, May 21st will be 1/2 days. Lunch will be served from 11:09 a.m. to 11:29 a.m., and scholars will be dismissed at 11:29 a.m. Any scholar who is picked up or walks home may leave campus at 11:09 a.m. if they choose not to eat lunch. Once scholars leave campus, they may not return. Buses are scheduled to depart at approximately 11:36 a.m. Please also remember that Thursday, May 21st is the last day of school. Thank you again for an amazing school year. We wish all of our BMS families a safe, relaxing, and joy-filled summer!
