BMS Families: All 8th graders have completed their next step plans in the last 2 days and have brought it home for parents/guardians to sign. During their next class Social Studies class, they will be registering for their High School classes using their "next step" plan. Any student who does not have it with them will not be able to register for 9th grade classes. Please remind your scholar to double check that they have their papers signed and, in their backpacks, to bring it back to school. Thank you!

BMS: Belen Middle School Families: Belen Middle School has lifted the lock down. The campus is clear and all scholars are safe in their 4A classes.

Belen Middle School Families: We will be conducting a technology test tomorrow, March 22nd, 2024. Please make sure your scholar brings their laptop tomorrow fully charged. Also, please remember the 8th grade field trip to Belen High School is tomorrow to tour the campus. Field trip permission forms were due today. This is a walking field trip so please make sure your scholar wears comfortable clothing and shoes. We will be leaving BMS at 8:00 am and will be returning by lunch time. Thank you!

BMS staff just a reminder the staff parking lot will be closed today. You need to enter the campus through the east side. The gate will be open for you to park in the back until further notice. Please do not enter through the bus lane. Thank you.

Good evening BMS Families: We will be holding our 2nd round of Scholar Led Conferences, Thursday February 15th and Friday, February 16th. Conferences are being held with your scholars' student development teacher. Your child's student development teacher should have already been in contact with you regarding an appointment time. If they have not, please contact them OR you can call the front office to schedule a conference time. We had a 70% participation rate last time and our goal is to reach 100% this time around! We will be offering our FREE tutoring on Wednesday, February 14th ONLY this week. Scholars will have an early release day on Thursday, February 15th. Dismissal will be at 12:10 pm. There will be NO SCHOOL for scholars both Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. Have a great evening!

Good Evening BMS Families! We can't wait to see all of our scholars tomorrow! Please make sure they wear their student ID every day. Scholars who are not wearing their IDs will be given lunch detention starting tomorrow. We have been letting scholars know the past few weeks before break that this will be the consequence for not wearing their student IDs in the hope that they will make sure they have one by January 8th. Attention students and parents of the Belen Middle School Eagle Band Program. The Beginner and Intermediate Bands will perform in Concert on Tuesday Evening, December 12. The concert will be at the Belen Middle School Cafeteria starting at 6 PM. Students who are performing should wear all black. The Beginner Band will perform first and will be followed by the Intermediate Band. Beginner Band students will have a rehearsal on Monday, December 11, immediately after school. This rehearsal will be at the middle school. This rehearsal is very important as it is the only time that the three beginner classes are able to rehearse together. Students who ride the bus will need to make arrangements on how they will get home. The rehearsal should be over by around 3:30 PM and students should be picked up from school at that time. Good Evening Belen Middle School Families: A reminder that we will be offering FREE tutoring after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm starting this week. Transportation will not be provided. If your scholar is interested, please have them meet Ms. Rankin at the front of the office on those days and she will assign them a tutor. Scholars are expected to bring work from other classes with them to tutoring. Thank you!
