Good evening BMS families: Due to unforeseen circumstances we have combined the 8th grade Social Studies classes into one classroom. The classroom is larger than the standard classroom size to accommodate the number of students. All the students will be working with Ms. Rankin in room 137. The decision to combine the classes together was made with the students' best interests in mind. By doing this the students will be receiving the required curriculum with the least disruption in their education. All measures will be taken to disinfect the surfaces after each class and students will of course be required to wear masks appropriately. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Ms. Rankin. Rankina@beleneagles.org

Good evening BMS families: BMS is going to begin to offer tutoring to students who need additional help in their classes. Tutoring will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 2:30-4:30. Any student needing additional help can attend. Tutoring is FREE. Students can report to either Ms. Rankin in room 137, or to Mrs. Silva in room 301 after school. Tutoring will begin on Thursday, December 2nd.
Also, tomorrow, Wednesday, December 1st is an early release day. Students will be released at 11:30 am.
Thank you and have a WONDERFUL evening!----Mrs. Montoya-BMS Principal

BMS Parents: We have been unable to fill one of our English Language Arts (ELA) positions. Because of this, I have rearranged some of the ELA and Reading Lab courses. Our media specialist, Mrs. Matheson is coming on board as she has an ELA teaching license and will be able to cover some of the reading labs. This only affects a few ELA and Reading Lab classes, but I wanted you to be informed. Students were notified of the changes last week. Making these changes are going to ensure that ALL students at BMS have a certified ELA teacher. Please click on the link below to view changes that will take place tomorrow. You will not see the change in PowerSchool until Thursday as I am not able to make changes until then. Thank you! ---Mrs. Montoya- BMS Principal
