BMS Families: Just a reminder, Belen Middle School Open House is tonight from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. This will give your scholar an opportunity to walk the campus and meet their teachers! If your student has PE, PE teachers will be located in the cafeteria as our gym is still undergoing construction. Thank you and see you all soon!!
BMS: Belen Middle School Parents: Attention all Belen Middle School 7th and 8th grade students who are interested in participating in Belen Middle School Volleyball, open gyms will be held August 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 10th from 2:30-4:30pm at the middle school gym. Mandatory tryouts will begin August 14th and end on August 18th and will be from 2:30-4:30. Please make sure that students have plenty of water and a snack for tryouts. Students must have a completed physical and all paperwork completed in Rank One in order to participate in open gyms.
I am happy to announce that the Belen Consolidated Schools has purchased all required school supplies for your scholar. I have compared the list I sent to the district office and all items have been included with the exception of a backpack and a bottle for water (if they choose). School supplies will be given to scholars on the first day of school through their 1st period classes. BMS Open House will be from 5:30-7:00 pm on Monday, July 31st. This will be a time when your scholar can find their classes and meet their teachers. The first day of school for scholars is Wednesday, August 2nd. Belen Middle School start time is 7:10 am. Belen Middle School Families: Just a reminder BMS Student schedules are ready for pick up. Eighth grade students will be able to pick up their schedules and complete renewal paperwork tomorrow, July 18th from 8:00 am-2:00 pm. Incoming 7th grade students can pick up their schedules on Wednesday, July 19th from 8:00 am-2:00 pm. A parent or guardian will need to accompany their scholar so renewal paperwork can be completed. We will be located in the Belen Middle School Media Center. Students will also need to come so they can take a picture for their BMS photo ID. See you soon!!!

Practice will be Monday-Thursday from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at the BMS field. Students must have a completed physical and all paperwork completed in Rank One in order to participate in practices. Good Evening BMS Families: Reminder that the next two school days, Thursday and Friday, are early release days. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 am. Please make sure your students DO NOT bring backpacks tomorrow or Friday. All necessary supplies will be provided to your student for the next two days by the classroom teacher. Also, if your student has not turned in electronics or accessories that were checked out to them, please have them bring those items to the media center. Thank you!
BMS Families: Just a reminder that this week will be the last week free tutoring will be offered at BMS. If your student needs extra help before the end of the quarter, have them report to the front of the office this Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm. They must have work with them. Thank you!
BMS Families: Please make sure your student brings their laptop and charger to school on Monday and Tuesday. We will be administering required testing in the classrooms. Thank you!
BMS Families: We will be collecting student technology equipment on May 18th (A-day) and May 19th (B-day) during your student’s Social Studies class. If your student has a laptop, hot spot, and laptop bag, please have them bring them on that day so we can check them in. They will also need to bring the chargers as well. Thank you!
