Tomorrow, BHS will be hosting our annual Eagle Expo. This is an opportunity for our students to speak and learn from local business partners and colleges about post-high school opportunities. This is a required school day, and is a great opportunity for all students to learn about various options after high school. All students will begin the day in their Student Development class. Tomorrow is BHS's Fall State testing day. All students will begin in their Student Development class where they will be notified which room they are to report to. This is a required school day for all BHS students 9-12. All 9th, 10th, & 11th grade students will be testing in the morning. 12th graders who signed up to take a practice ACT, SAT, or ASVAB test will do so. All other 12th graders will be working on an assigned English IV assignment in the morning. After lunch, all 12th graders will participate in a FASFA event in the auditorium. Please ensure your student brings their school issued laptop fully charged for the day as charging ports are extremely limited in testing rooms. Also, please ensure your student arrives on time tomorrow to ensure a smooth experience and to avoid having to miss class for their make-up test. Thank you all for your assistance with this!

Good evening BHS families! Belen High School will resume school as usual. We were able to get the electricity back up and network access to the majority of campus. All of out main campus buildings and classrooms have network connection. See you all tomorrow!

Good afternoon. Due to the power outage at Belen High School, the volleyball game scheduled for tomorrow, September 26th, has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Due to today's power outage at Belen High School, the football contest scheduled for tonight has been postponed until 10/10/25 at 7:00 PM. Tomorrow's Volleyball contest is still to be determined. We are making every effort to get the game played at West Mesa. We will send out a message as soon as we know more. Thank you for your patience and GO EAGLES!

Apologies for all of the messages. We just received word that though we do have electricity in the 700 building, we do not have internet access at this time. Students who are currently on the bus to BHS will be transported back home this morning. Sorry for the confusion and any inconvenience.

If your child needs a place to work with internet, we have electricity in the 700 building on campus. Students may come to campus and work there if needed.

BHS Staff, Due to a campus-wide electrical outage, we will be on a remote learning day today. The expectation is you post assignments through Schoology and hold synchronous learning sessions with all of your classes. You may work remotely as long as you are in a location that allows for your to be online and able to host MSTeams meetings. We do have electricity in the 700 building if you need a place to work.

Students will have work posted and their teachers will send out a Teams link to join their class. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working with electricians to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Good Evening BHS Families,
We would like to welcome you to our first Parent Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday, September 24th at 5:00PM in the BHS Library. We will discuss what's new to BHS this school year, graduation requirements for Class of 2026-2028 & the new requirements for the Class of 2029 & Beyond. We will also discuss various other topics and seek the communities input on what improvements parents and the community would like to see. We hope to see you all there!

Reminder Varsity Football game is TODAY at Milne Stadium in ABQ versus Del Norte at 7:00 PM. Soccer also plays at 4:30 PM at the APSSC Soccer Facility. Both the girls and boys start at 4:30. Remember APS has a clear bag policy for all athletic events.

Volleyball is home versus Bernalillo with C Team playing at 4:00 PM!

Senior retakes: October 8th
Seniors need to have their Senior Ads purchased, Photos (that aren't Lifetouch), Baby Photos, and Quotes in by December 19th.
Ads are to be designed and paid for at entourageyearbooks.com
Baby Photos and Preferred Senior Photos should be uploaded to entourageyearbooks.com - make sure there is a name on the photo.
