Today, at approximately 12:58, Belen High School was placed in a Lockdown for precautionary reasons. There was police activity and we were informed by authorities we needed to secure the campus. At approximately 1:05PM we were informed by authorities there was no longer a threat to Belen High School and the Lockdown was lifted. Thank you all for your patience and understanding of the situation.

As the Belen Board of Education begins the process of selecting the district’s next Superintendent, we are seeking input from our staff, guardians, and community. Your feedback will help identify the qualities, leadership skills, and priorities that are most important in the next Superintendent of Belen Consolidated Schools.
We encourage all Belen Consolidated Schools staff members, guardians, and community members to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your participation is an important part of the process and will help guide the Board as it moves forward with the Superintendent selection.

Girls Basketball is holding a cornhole tournament fundraiser on the football field at the high school this Friday October 10th at 10:00am. Players can register electronically by downloading the Scoreholio app and searing for Belen Women's Basketball. People can also register on site at the football field at 9:00am. There will be prizes for the top 3 teams which includes: Engraved water bottles, and free Chick Fil A once a week for a year! The entree fee is $30.00 per player. Come have fun, hangout with players, coaches, and raise money for a great group of girls!
