Belén High School

This year's 2020 Belen High School and Infinity High School Graduation will be a drive-thru ceremony held on June 9th. We sent our carefully developed plan for a ceremony to take place in the Eagle Stadium to the Secretary of Education. Doctor Stewart consulted with the Governor's Office. Due to the current health orders we are under, we will not be permitted to have the ceremony in the stadium. This is not the news we were hoping to hear; however, the safety of our students, staff, and community is essential, and we must follow the health orders. The Administration at B H S and I H S have plans in place so that those who wish to can view a live stream of the ceremony. Our entire staff is saddened by this news. We were greatly hoping we would be able to send off the Class of 2020 with the graduation ceremony they have worked hard for. and greatly deserve.

Good afternoon, I am sure many of you have been anxiously waiting for information concerning the graduation ceremony scheduled for June 9. Unfortunately, we still do not have approval from the state to do a live on the field graduation for students nor have we received permission to have guests. We are hoping that by limiting the number of guests to 2 per student, we will have a better chance of getting approval to do the live ceremony. There are no plans for practice as of now, again because of the Governor's ban on large gatherings. If we are not given permission to have a live graduation, we will have a drive-thru graduation. Regardless, the graduation ceremony will be live streamed over YouTube. The link to the stream will be available on the B H S website. We are finalizing plans right now. Tomorrow we will send out plans for both the live ceremony and the drive thru ceremony.

2020-2021 B H S Course Catalog Good afternoon, the course catalog for the next school year is ready and can be found under documents on the B H S website in the 2020 2021 student scheduling folder. We will start registering students the week of June 15. More information on how the registration process will work will be available soon.

Good afternoon, I know many of you are wondering when students will be able to register for classes for the next school year. As of now the plan is register online through Power School. Next Monday we will make the Course Catalog available online so students can begin to plan what courses they would like to take. Our plan is to start the registration process on Monday, June 15 beginning with next year's seniors and proceeding from there through each class, one day at a time. We will be sending more information to you on how to complete the process as the time draws closer.

Update Graduation tickets will be available for pickup beginning on May 26. I am sorry for the confusion. I for that May 25 is Memorial Day.

UNM-VC Video Contest Hello, I wanted to let you know about the Student Video Contest flyer presented by Mission:Graduate, Valencia County Partnership.
