Good afternoon,
To follow-up on our previous message. The only information that we have is that there are postings on social media saying that there will be shootings at each one of our sites. We have not found any proof that these threats are true. We are working with Belen PD. They will have an officer posted at each school site tomorrow. Again, we have no information other than what I have shared.

There has been a rash of messages on social media regarding the possibility of a school shooting happening tomorrow at all BCS sites including one that is no longer in existence. I want to assure you that we take all such reports seriously no matter how farfetched they may seem. In working with Belen PD, we have found no evidence to substantiate these claims. We will continue to remain on alert. If you become aware of any new information please share with Belen PD.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!
Dear Students and Parents,
As we kick off the new school year, we want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance. Being present at school every day is crucial for academic success, personal growth, and building lifelong habits of responsibility and commitment. When students attend school regularly, they are more likely to perform better, stay engaged, and achieve their full potential.
In celebration of September Attendance Awareness Month, we are excited to announce a special incentive!
Students who achieve perfect attendance for the entire month of September—meaning they are present every day, from the first bell to the last—will be awarded a certificate of recognition along with a prize as a token of our appreciation for their dedication.
Let's make every day count and set the tone for a successful school year. Remember, every day, every class, and every minute matters!
Thank you for your commitment to being present and prepared!
