School Bus Ridership registration is now online. Bus registrations are posted on our webpage at www.beleneagles.org. From our home page select menu and from the dropdown list select Transportation Information. The Ridership Forms are posted in English and Spanish. Download, complete and return to busridership@beleneagles.org or fax to: 505/966-1185. Students must be registered prior to pick up.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year there are many uncertainties. Belen Consolidated Schools is working on preparing for students to re-enter school in the fall. The Public Education Department is working with a task force to provide guidance. The link to access the 2020-2021 Student Calendar that was approved by the School Board is: https://go.aws/37m3V2p. We are anticipating that we will start school as scheduled on August 18th. We are hopeful that it will be in-person with all our students but are preparing for variations that may need to take place do to COVID-19 CDC guidelines. We recognize that students are our foundation and will make decisions that positively impact their learning and well-being.
We will be having the Road Runner Food Bank distribution tomorrow at 2:00 in the cafeteria. Please drive up to the cafeteria entrance and we will bring the box out to you.
Beginning June 1st our office hours will be 7:30 to 3:00.
Please come out to see our La Promesa Car Parade tomorrow, Friday May 22nd. We will be leaving La Promesa at 9:30 and head toward Wheeler Road. We expect to end around 12:00 at the Fire Station in Sabinal. There is a map of the parade route on our Facebook page. See you tomorrow!

Good afternoon Families. On our webpage under documents, you will find a folder with each teacher's name. In the folder is information and student work for the week. Thank you for working together to support our students.
It was very sad news to hear that our school will be closed until the end of the year. Please know our La Promesa staff will keep working together to ensure that learning continues for all our students. Thank you all for supporting The Gem of Belén, La Promesa.
Families, we are sorry to say that the Egg Drop Contest and our Family Bingo Night are canceled due to the school closure. We will reschedule as soon as we are able.
Office Hours: during the school closure, our office will be minimally staffed. Our secretary will be in the office from 10:00-2:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays if families need to come pick up student work. Please press the button and we will bring the materials to the door. Thank you.
Though our building is closed to the public, meals can be picked up in the parking lot from 10:30 to 12:30 daily. Also, buses are delivering meals to bus stops in the mornings.
We are celebrating Dr. Seuss Week this week. We're starting on Monday with Cozy Up To A Good Book. Wear your pajamas to cozy up to reading.
