La Merced Elementary was on a modified lockdown this morning for a brief period. All scholars and staff were in their classrooms and safe. The m,odified lockdown was lifted at 10:43 am.

We are all clear on the modified lockdown. After searching the area, Rio Communities PD has given us the all clear. Buses will depart at the normal time.
For the safety of our scholars, La Merced has been placed on a modified lockdown. BCS SRO and Rio Communities PD have been notified of the situation. More information will come shortly.
Parents and guardians. Please take the time to look through our Lost and Found. All leftover coats and jackets will be donated.
Come out to La Merced Elementary tonight from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for our Annual Holiday Fair. Come enjoy an evening of fun, food, and performances.

Attention LME families tomorrow is the last day to send in any donations for our Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive. We appreciate all the items that have been sent in. Also, tomorrow is Popcorn/Pickle Day send in money with your child. Small Popcorn $1, Large Popcorn $2 and Pickles $2!
