Free Tutoring for PreK-8 Students
PED announces its new tutoring service in partnership with Paper that focuses on mathematics, language arts and science. The program offers students in grades preK-8 from New Mexico Title I Schools access to free academic support from tutors on a secure platform. All Belen Consolidated Schools’ students who choose to participate will receive 20 hours of tutoring at no cost to families. Features include:
• Virtual tutoring.
• Can be scheduled before, after or during school.
• All learning abilities.

BMS Families: Just a reminder that FREE tutoring is offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30 pm at BMS. If your student is struggling in any academic area please have them attend. Thank you!
BMS Families: Students are allowed to wear halloween costumes to school tomorrow. Please make sure costumes meet dress code expectations.
Also, we will be having our Fall Festival tomorrow during the school day for students. Please have students bring money to purchase items as well as for the haunted house. Thank you!!
BMS Families: Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, October 19th is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30. If they walk or are parent pick up they may leave at 11:00. Thank you!
Belen Middle School Families: We will be offering FREE tutoring to any BMS student who needs extra help in any academic area. Tutoring will start tomorrow, October 18th and will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30-4:30 pm. Students are to report to the office after school so they can be assigned a tutor. Thank you!!
BMS Families: Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12th is NOT an early-release day. We will dismiss at regular time which is 2:10 pm. We will be following the normal Monday/Friday schedule. Thank you!
BMS Families: Please make sure your student brings their student IDs to school every day. All students should have already received one along with a lanyard. It is an expectation that students wear their student ID's while they are on campus at all times. Thank you!

BMS Families: Belen Middle School 8th grade students and Belen High School 9th graders, and Elementary students from Rio Grande have artwork on display at the Belen Public Library in the Art Show, Nostalgia. The show is curated by Rio Grande Art Educator, Paula Castillo and her Young Curator's Club. September 24th from 10:00 am-5:00 pm at the Belen Public Library.
