Attention Incoming 7th & 8th Graders:
If you have not picked classes for next year already, please turn in your preregistration form. Preregistration forms can be accessed through the BMS website at https://www.beleneagles.org/o/bms/documents or can be picked up at the East gate entrance across from the football field at BMS. Once you have filled out your form, please return it to the East gate entrance in the designated drop box. The office is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Be safe and take care!!
Attention Class of 2024:
I would like to remind you that we will begin prescheduling for the 2020-2021 school year on Monday, June 15th beginning with seniors. We will work with juniors on Tuesday, June 16, sophomores on Wednesday June 17 and Freshmen, June 18. Our counselors will be working with small groups of students using Microsoft Teams to communicate with the students online. We will also be using a program called Xello to assist students in registering for classes. Directions on how to log are on our website.
Students need to be able to log into their B H S email. We have turned on the student emails for incoming freshmen. We will be sending out Microsoft Teams invites over the next few days to students so they can know what day and time they are scheduled to work with the counselors. All help documents that students need can be found in the 2020-2021 Student Scheduling folder on the B H S website. or you can go the B H S website, click on Menu, then click on Documents. You will then click on the 2020-2021 Student Scheduling folder. We will be having makeup sessions for students who are unable to attend their meeting or do not have a device.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year there are many uncertainties. Belen Consolidated Schools is working on preparing for students to re-enter school in the fall. The Public Education Department is working with a task force to provide guidance. The link to access the 2020-2021 Student Calendar that was approved by the School Board is: https://go.aws/37m3V2p. We are anticipating that we will start school as scheduled on August 18th. We are hopeful that it will be in-person with all our students but are preparing for variations that may need to take place do to COVID-19 CDC guidelines. We recognize that students are our foundation and will make decisions that positively impact their learning and well-being.

Students can begin to look at the catalog to see which classes they will sign up for. We will start registering students the week of June 15. More information on how the registration process will work will be available soon.

BMS 7th Graders - Preregistration forms for next year are due by Wednesday, May 20th. Forms can be obtained through the website under documents or at the East gate entrance. Forms may be dropped off Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Beginning Monday, April 27th, BMS will have two drop-off boxes located at the East Gate entrance to return student work and library books. Yearbooks can now be purchased at www.balfour.com for $35. Yearbooks may also be purchased by phone at 1-800-944-5930. Take care!!
The BMS Office will be closed Friday, April 10th - Monday, April 13th in observance of the Easter holiday. Work for the week of April 13th can be found by visiting https://www.beleneagles.org/o/bms/documents. Work and meal pick up will resume on Tuesday, April 14th.
BMS Families - All work can now be found on the Belen School website at beleneagles.org or on the app. For families without Internet, please call the office between 8:00 and 3:00 Monday through Thursday at 966-1600 to make arrangements to pick up work. Take care.
BMS Yearbooks - Please go to the app or website for information on how to order a yearbook for the 2019-20 school year.
BMS - Due to the latest orders from the Governor, we are shortening our office hours to 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in which we will take phone calls and bring student work out to you. Lessons have been posted in our documents link. We have also posted a newsletter. Take care!
BMS Parents: Teachers will be providing assignments while school is closed. Assignments can be viewed my clicking on the documents link on the BMS App. We will also be mailing out report cards along with a newsletter w/ info. Teachers will be contacting you to offer support.
BMS - 8th Graders visit Belen High School on Tuesday, March 3rd. Please remember your permission slips. Students will not return to BMS. They will catch their bus, be picked up, or walk home from BHS. Also, Wednesday, March 4th is an early release. Students will be released at 11:30.

Report cards for Semester 1 will be going home today along with a letter about Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, January 16th and Friday, January 17th.
