Due to the unforeseen circumstances of the water line break at Belen Middle School, the Spring Attendance Challenge for the month of April will begin Monday, April 4th. All students who have no absences and no tardies will be rewarded on May 11th with a Pizza Party Luau!! Good luck to everyone 🙂
BMS Families: Due to a water line break at BMS, there will be no in-person learning tomorrow, Friday, April 1st. Teachers will provide remote instruction to students. All students will be required to log into Schoology to complete assignments. If your student has not checked out a device, we will have some available to check out tomorrow in the front office beginning at 7 am. Teachers will be sending out information on how to access instruction via TEAMS. We will be following our regular bell schedule:

BMS Parents: I wanted to let you know that I called Belen PD this afternoon. It was brought to my attention that a person, not affiliated with BMS, was posting threats on social media. I called Belen PD to report those social media threats. Belen PD responded within minutes and all information was turned over to them. If you have any questions, please call me at (505)966-1600. BMS Parents: I wanted to let you know that we did have to call Belen PD for a situation this afternoon on campus. A student was threatening harm to another student in a classroom. All students in that classroom were evacuated to the media center to ensure the safety of all students until the situation was deescalated. No weapons were involved. BMS Families: BMS will not be offering tutoring this week as it is the last week of the quarter. We will resume tutoring the week of March 7th from 2:30-4:30 every Tuesday and Thursday. Thank you!!
