Academic Awards 2019-2020 If your student has earned an academic honor award for the 2019-2020 school year, you received a notification call today The certificates, bars and academic letters will be handed out next week. Good morning, Graduation exercises will be held June 9, 2020 at 7:00 pm. We are awaiting further guidance from Governor Lujan-Grisham as to what social distancing guidelines will be in place. As more information becomes available, we will provide further details concerning graduation.

ACT has rescheduled its April 4 national test date to June 13 across the U.S. in response to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). All students registered for the April 4 test date will receive an email from ACT in the next few days informing them of the postponement and instructions for free rescheduling to June 13 or a future national test date.There are a few upcoming free services being provided by ACT on their website. Go to ACT.org Click on the Covid 19 tab and then scroll down. There are 3 upcoming practice events.

If you are currently picking up assignment packets at the bus stops please read the following:The buses are stopping at the elementary school bus stops. Sometimes they are the same as the high school but at times the stops can be different. If you need to know where the bus is stopping and an approximate time please call the transportation department at 966-1175. From now on packets will be delivered to transportation on Wednesday morning for delivery to students on Thursday. This will alleviate parents/students going to the bus stop everyday waiting for a packet.

Hello Eagle families, We are working diligently to ensure every student can continue their learning during this difficult time. For those families without Internet capacity, we will be delivering work during the same time the buses are delivering meals in the morning. Delivery will begin Wednesday, March 25. If your student is a current bus rider, please call the bus depot at 966-1177 to ensure they will stop at the closest stop to your home to deliver hard copies of schoolwork. If you student is not a current bus rider; either drives to school, rides with a friend or parent, please call the bus depot 966-1177 to locate the closest stop to your home so schoolwork may be delivered to your student.

Soaring Singers The BHS Choral Department will be holding a choir camp for students in grades 7-12. Beginning in April, participants will meet every Tuesday from 2:45-4:30 pm in the BHS Auditorium. On 4/30 and 5/1, camp participants will take part in end of camp concerts. The cost of the camp is $40 which also includes a camp t-shirt and one complimentary ticket to the end of cam performances.
