Good evening La Promesa Families. We are starting a Learning Through Games after school club. The club will be from 3:45 to 4:45 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Unfortunately, we do not have transportation after the club, so students will need to be picked up. A form is being sent home today to sign students up. Please return the form if you would like your child to participate in this great after school club.

Good Afternoon La Promesa Families. Today is the last day of semester one and the last day of school before Winter Break! This week we cleaned out some of our closets, and we're sending math manipulatives home with students. They are for students to keep and use to practice some math. Wishing everyone a wonderful vacation. Our office will be closing at 4:00 today. We'll see you all on January 8th.

Good Evening La Promesa Families. Tomorrow, Wednesday December 20th, is our last day before Winter Break. It will be a regular schedule day, 9:01 to 3:29. However, we will not have our afternoon clubs - no Cooking Club or Ballet Folklorico. We wish you all happy holidays, and we'll see back on January 8th.

Good evening La Promesa Families. We are having our annual Winter Festival and Luminaria Tour tomorrow December 14th. Please join us from 5:30-7:00 for musical performances, snack sales, a basket raffle and a walk through the luminarias. Snack and raffle ticket sales are cash only. Hope to see everyone here.

Good Afternoon La Promesa families. We hope to see you at our Thanksgiving Lunch tomorrow November 15th. PreK to 2nd grades will have lunch from 10:50 to 11:30. 3rd and 4th grade lunch will be from 11:35 to 12:05, and 5th and 6th lunch will be from 12:10 to 12:40. Our Student Leadership Club is selling posole for five dollars a bowl during lunches. Please come early to sign in through our security system. Hope to see you there.

Good Evening La Promesa Families. To honor our veterans, we are having a Salute to Veterans! On Monday November 13th at 9:00 a.m., we are inviting veterans to come to La Promesa to share their stories and wisdom with our students. We'll be serving coffee and donuts as well. If you are a veteran and available to attend, please call our office at 505-966-2400 to RSVP. We are also asking for pictures from the community of our veterans to display. You can send in a photo or copy of a photo to school or you can email us a picture at montoyac@beleneagles.org. Thank you to all who have served our country.

Students may wear may costume,s but they must be school appropriate costumes--no weapons or blood and masks can only be worn during the parade. Families are welcome to join us.
