Good Evening La Promesa Families. Thank you all for your support this week as our 3rd to 6th grade students finished up their state assessments! I am looking forward to seeing how well they all did.
We do not have school tomorrow, April 3rd, or Monday April 6th. We hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend, and we’ll see you all back next Tuesday.

Good Evening La Promesa Families. Spring testing is underway! Our 5th graders took the New Mexico Measures of Student Success and Achievement last week, and this week we have our 3rd, 4th and 6th graders. We should be finished by Thursday April 2nd.It is important that students be here for these important assessments. Thank you for your support.

Good Evening La Promesa Families. Students in grades 3 to 6 will be taking the state assessment, New Mexico Measures of Student Success and Achievement, NMMSSA, starting tomorrow with our 5th graders. 5th grade students will test March 25th, 26th, and 27th. 3rd and 4th grade students will take the tests on March 30th and April 1st, and 6th grade will test on March 31st and April 2nd. It is important that students be to school on time and ready to show what they know on these important assessments. Thank you for supporting our students’ success.

Good Afternoon La Promesa Families. We will be having popcorn and pickle sales on Fridays again starting this Friday the 27th. Proceeds from the sales will go into our staff and student activity accounts to support activities for both adults and students.

This week we are having a Green Ribbon Week; celebrating the importance of taking care of ourselves—both inside and out! We're focusing on healthy minds and healthy bodies by encouraging our students to move their bodies, eat nutritious foods, get good sleep, and practice kindness and positivity. As we head into our final quarter, we are looking forward to finishing the school year strong!
