Good Afternoon La Promesa Families. We are off to a great start to our school year! One exciting thing happening here in Belen Consolidated Schools is the adoption of the PAX program. PAX is a set of strategies that help build a peaceful and positive environment in our schools that allows students to grow and strive. Here at La Promesa, we will be having a short assembly tomorrow morning at 9:15 in our gym to talk about some of pieces we are implementing from PAX. Families are welcome to join us to learn about this new program. We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning.

Good Evening La Promesa Families. The first day of school is tomorrow August 6th, and we are excited to see our Kindergarten to 6th grade students back at school. Our bell schedule has not changed. We have student drop off at 8:40, and instruction begins at 8:50, and school is dismissed at 3:41. Please remember that if your child arrives after 8:50, they must be accompanied by an adult to the office. Our PreK students will return on Monday August 10th, and they will have the same schedule as our Kinder to 6th grade students—8:50-3:41. It is going to be a great year!

Good morning La Promesa Families. We are looking forward to the start of school this week! We are having our Back to School Block Party this Thursday August 6th from 5:30-7:00. We will have food trucks and different community organizations here to share information. The first day for our Kindergarten through 6th grade students is Friday August 7th, and our PreK students will start on Monday the 10th. The District is providing school supplies this year. Students will only need a backpack and a water bottle. We are excited to see everyone this week.
