**Thank you and to all the parents and guardians that came to have Pie with your Turkeys on Wednesday, it was great having you all on campus. A quick reminder that Thanksgiving break starts on Wednesday, November 26th. **We do have regular school on Monday and Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

If you could just let your child's teacher know if you are able to attend, I will ask them for a count. If you already accessed the online form, you do not have to do this. Happy Monday! A big thank you to all who helped make our DCE Red Ribbon week, Harvest fest, and Costume parade a big success. Congratulations to the winners of the pumpkin carving contest: 1st place The Aragon Family, 2nd place The Cordova Family, 3rd place The Lafferty Family. We will send home Prizes and Certificates with your students. Any pumpkins not picked up by the end of the day will be discarded.
Also, a reminder that we will have our DCE Parent Advisory/Site council meeting tonight at 5:30 pm in the library. All are invited, we will be discussing Title I, Student Attendance, and our recent Distinguished Schools Award. I will be sending out the DCE Newsletter later today with the event calendar and a whole lot more.

**Update, the pumpkin carving contest has been extended to Friday 10/31. So, you still have time to enter the contest. Flyers will go out with students tomorrow.

They have had a great season and worked really hard to get into the playoffs. **Pick up Line** - The Belen Police department has directed us to adjust our pick-up procedures. There can only be one line to pick up students, in order to allow room for emergency vehicles to get through on Esparanza Street if necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this issue.
