August 25, 2021 Confirmed Case of COVID-19: Belen Consolidated Schools has confirmed a student at Dennis Chavez Elementary School in Belen, NM has tested positive for COVID-19. There were no close contacts. All the appropriate steps as per NMPED guidance has been completed. If you feel you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please contact the Department of Health Coronavirus Hotline at 1-855-600-3453. If you have any concerns, please call the district at (505) 966-1271.
Hello families. Our attendance policy for covid/quarantine related absences is as follows: the absence is marked as excused. Work will be available for pick up 24 hours after notification. When students return completed work their absence will be changed to "present" since they were participating in the educational process. Have a great evening!

After school pick up will be the same as the end of last year. Cars picking up multiple students should go to the lot on the EAST side of the school near the gym. Cars picking up single students should go to the lot right in front of the office in the STAFF lot. Dismissal is 12:30 today.

Schedule: 5:00-5:30 find classrooms, drop off supplies, begin registration paperwork; 5:30 principals message followed by classroom expectations (in the classrooms); 6:00-6:15 paperwork and Q & A in classrooms; 6:15 exit the building and we will see you Wednesday!

Hello DCE Roadrunners! The start of school is just around the corner. The first day for students is Wednesday, August 4. Students will be in school M-F (5 days per week), however several of the Wednesdays are Early Release Days. Please see the attached calendar. We are working on student class placements and supply lists. When they are ready we will let you know. See you soon!
