Good Morning BMS Families! We wanted to let you know that BCS has decided that we will remain in the Remote Learning system for the remainder of the semester. This decision was made due to the uncertainty of if an when we might be returning to campus this semester. We want students to know to continue to log in daily to Schoology to complete assignments and attend Teams meetings as they work towards proficiency and that they are working with their Advisory teacher each week if they need support. October 16, 2020 Confirmed Case of COVID-19 Belen Consolidated Schools has confirmed three staff member that have tested positive for COVID-19 through are surveillance testing all three individuals are asymptotic. The individuals work at Belen Middle School, Rio Grande Elementary School, and Technology all are located in Belen, NM. With an abundance of caution the district will close the classrooms that the individuals were in for 24 hours for a deep cleaning. BMS Family Reminders! The Beginning of Year Illuminate testing window for Math and ELA closes on Friday. If your student has not taken their Illuminate tests, please have them contact their teachers for support. Grades close on Wednesday, October 14th. Please make sure your student is logging in daily to their classes and completing work. If you need access to PowerSchool, please contact your student's Advisory teacher. Student Nutrition at BMS continues to make and provide breakfast and lunch from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm daily. Parents may pick up meals for students by providing their student’s name and student ID number. Take care!!
