The Student Nutrition Department at Belen High School will continue to make and provide breakfast and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This practice will continue until B H S students return to school on the hybrid schedule, hopefully in October. We encourage all students to come and pick up their free meals daily with our curbside service. Parents may pick up meals for them providing students name and id number. Good evening, I wanted to let you know that the last day students can submit schedule changes is Friday September 4. We need to cut off schedule changes at that time to make sure we are able to stay up to date on the class meeting invites that are sent to students so they can participate in their remote learning classes.

Our teachers will work with those students who may not be able to attend the first few days of school. Scheduling Updates Good morning, I know that parents and students are anxiously awaiting the release of student schedules. The good news is all students have been scheduled. The reason the schedules have not been released yet is that we are reviewing each student's schedule to ensure they have the core classes they need while trying to satisfy the students' elective choices. We are 3/4 of the way through this process and expect to be finished by Friday. As soon as schedules are approved we will open the PowerSchool parent and student portals so you can view the schedule. A notification will be sent to you at this time. Thank you for your patience as we try to do what is best for each student. If you have questions, do not hesitate to call us at 966-1310.

Good afternoon, I would like to remind you that we will begin prescheduling for the 2020-2021 school year on Monday, June 15th beginning with seniors. We will work with juniors on Tuesday, June 16, sophomores on Wednesday June 17 and Freshmen, June 18. Our counselors will be working with small groups of students using Microsoft Teams to communicate with the students online. We will also be using a program called Xello to assist students in registering for classes. Directions on how to log are on our website. Students need to be able to log into their B H S email. We have turned on the student emails for incoming freshmen. We will be sending out Microsoft Teams invites over the next few days to students so they can know what day and time they are scheduled to work with the counselors. All help documents that students need can be found in the 2020-2021 Student Scheduling folder on the B H S website.
