I wanted to give you all an update on a district decision that has been made regarding athletics. After discussions and collaboration with several coaches, Athletic Coordinator Steven Contreras and District Health Services Coordinator Deborah Baca, the decision has been made to shut down athletic practices for a two-week period. This will begin effective Monday November 16th and run through Thanksgiving break. On Monday November 30th, Coach Contreras, Ms. Baca and I will meet to see what direction we will take at that point. Once again this was a district decision that was made through discussion and review of data. The decision was made with the health, safety and wellbeing of all athletes and coaches in our athletic department. Thank you.

Hello, We wanted to let you know that we have made the decision that no matter what Governor Lujan Grisham decides, students will not be returning to BHS this fall. We will stay on the remote learning system for the remainder of the semester. This decision was made due to the uncertainty of if and when we might be returning to campus this semester. It is important to us that parents, students and staff be able to plan for the remainder of the fall semester. Hopefully, we will be able to return to campus in January.

Good evening, I wanted to let you know that the last day students can submit schedule changes is Friday September 4. We need to cut off schedule changes at that time to make sure we are able to stay up to date on the class meeting invites that are sent to students so they can participate in their remote learning classes.
