Good evening Rio Grande parents and guardians. This is a friendly reminder to please not use the bus lane to drop off your students in the morning. Also, please do not park across the street or in front of the school to drop off your child. This becomes a huge safety concern. We take the safety of our students as our number one priority!
Good evening Rio Grande parents and guardians. As you know we take the safety of your children very serious. It is very important that when picking up your child early you have a form of identification with you. We also ask that if you are sending someone else to pick up your child that they also have a form of identification and are on the list of people you have allowed to pick up your child. If you pick up your child in drive through lane or the walk up please make sure you have your colored card with you. If you do not you may be asked to go to the office to verify your identity. Thank you for your cooperation. Again, we are trying our best to keep your child safe.

Good evening Rio Grande parents. This is just a reminder that we will be participating in an evacuation drill tomorrow August 18th. Please remind your students to wear comfortable shoes because they will be walking to the bus compound. The police will be stopping traffic for us. Remember this is only a drill. Thank you.
On Friday I sent out a letter letting you know that we are changing our drop-off and pick-up procedures. You will now come in from River Road to Eastside School Road and turn right into the concrete lane. You will then exit to Orchard. This will be the last change we make. Thank you for your patience.

Our first day with students went very well. I believe all the students enjoyed their teachers. In order to help with the student drop-off we need for all parents to turn on Jarales Road, then turn left on Orchard and come in through the back of the school. Please follow the same directions for picking up your students. As we learn the parents our process will go much smoother. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
