Toys tends to be a distraction among students; can sometimes cause arguments and disagreements; can get stolen, misplaced or broken; and with the safety procedures we are following, can also be unsanitary because of being passed around. Good morning HTJ Families. I was informed this morning that the city will be repairing man holes on N 10th street. I talked to one of the city workers explaining our afternoon pick up procedures and he told me that traffic would be diverted but that families would still be able to enter Ross from N 10th street. As the city works through their repair work we ask for your patience. Please be assured we will do our best to work with the city to make this process as smooth as possible. Thank you.
Good afternoon HTJ Families. Effective today, August 12, at dismissal time, we will no longer be calling students from the pick-up line to head to the office to be picked up. Families will either have to get in the pick-up line and wait like all other families, or wait until afternoon pick-up duty is completed and students are brought to the front office for pick up. Good morning H TJ families. Thank you for your patience this morning with our drive-through drop-off. We will definately get better with this system and we will continually strive for this. Pick-up passes will be coming to you by the end of this week. In the meantime, please use last school years pick up pass (2020 - 2021). Also, please make sure to put your child's name, grade level, and teacher on them (pin to their clothes) they get on the bus or are dropped off in the morning. Please join us for our HTJ Family Orientation Night: August 2 - Kindergarten at 5:00 PM and 1st grade at 5:30 PM; August 3 - 2nd at 5:00 PM and 3rd grade at 5:30 PM. We will meet in the HTJ Gym. Families can park in the back parking lot, buy the HTJ Gym or in the S dirt lot where you will be directed to walk to the gym.
