Good morning Family School! We are rebooting the school year (again)! As you know today starts the Spring hybrid school year - similar to the Fall. Please know that it is our goal to provide a safe learning environment for the students. The end of this school year will be unlike any, but together we can make it great! Family School understands each and everyone's unique situation. Your teacher should have contacted you on what your child's schedule will look like upon return. Session 1 students will resume online learning starting tomorrow, Jan. 5th, 2021. 2nd Session will resume on Thursday, Jan. 6th, 2021. The areas the employee was in were deep cleaned. There was no close contact exposure. All the appropriate steps as per NMPED guidance have been completed. Hello Family School! This is a friendly reminder that breakfast and lunch will be available at Rio Grande Elementary - Monday thru Friday 11 am to 1 p.m for pickup. Good afternoon and Happy Friday Family School! From the staff and families at Family School we would like to wish you all a very, "Happy Thanksgiving!" Thank you for all the work you have done students, and parents during this challenging time! We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during their break. Meal Deliveries: Effective November 30th the buses will deliver meals to all regular bus stops. During remote - cafeteria's will be looking to start deliveries at 10:30 or 11:00. This time frame will allow them to serve a hot lunch to students. In addition, they will be able to also deliver the next morning's breakfast. The school cafeterias will continue curb side pick-ups as well. Principal Batista

Good morning Family School: The BCS School Board with the our acting Superintendent has decided to go full remote learning for ALL schools until January 19, 2021. This proactive decision is in effort to keep COVID-19 cases down and keep one another safe. During this time it is our intent to provide a quality education for ALL of our students. Parents, please be sure to be checking your student's work, contacting the teacher for any questions or concerns, participating in TEAMS, and engaging in your classes/lessons so that they receive the best quality education in this format. Good morning (First Session) Family School! Today is the first day of 'remote learning' for students. This is unlike any first day - so please be patient with yourself and the situation.
