Central Elementary School Field Day: Thursday, May 18. Families are welcome to attend. However, due to liability, small children and students that are not enrolled at Central Elementary School cannot participate in any of the planned activities. Make sure to send your child with already applied sunscreen, a hat to wear and a water bottle. There will be no water activities. A snack and drink station will be available to our Central Elementary students during their field day time. 4th grade: 9:15 - 11:15; 5th grade: 12:15 - 2:15; 6th grade: 1:15 - 3:15.

Hello Central Elementary School families. Your students have begun their NM MSSA state testing. As a reminder, please make sure you get your students to school on time - 8:35 AM. If your child arrives to school late and testing has started, he/she will not be able to join their class in the computer lab to take these very important state mandated tests. Also, once a student has started a test, he/she must finish the test - this is a state testing requirement. Therefore, if a parent/guardian comes to the school to sign their child out early, we are not allowed to let this child leave until he/she has completed their test. Thank you for your attention and cooperation to this matter.
