June 3rd thru June 7th (2019) Active Shooter Drill Rio Grande Elementary School Law Enforcement / Fire Services / EMS Training

Belen Consolidated Schools in conjunction with Local Law Enforcement / Fire Services will be holding an Active Shooter Emergency Response Drill in June. The training will be conducted throughout the week of June 3rd through June 7th at Rio Grande Elementary School. The activity in the area of the Rio Grande Elementary School Campus is as follows: June 4th – Tuesday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Law Enforcement Training June 5th – Wednesday (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM) Law Enforcement Training June 6th – Thursday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Active Shooter Drill Eastside Road will be closed from River Road to Orchard June 7th – Friday Fire Operations Training (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) WARNING: Simulated Gun Shots and other loud noises should be expected during the training, especially during the drill on June 6th. The Fire Operations training will be conducted on Friday the 7th and will be using smoke machines for the training.
