La Promesa is a special and unique school in many ways. One of those ways is that we receive our electrical services from the Socorro Electric Cooperative. That partnership is valuable to our community, and that was seen recently when we received a rebate check from the Cooperative. Our district installed energy saving LED lights around the exterior of our school, and Socorro Electric Cooperative rewarded us with a check in the amount of $4,839! We will begin work soon to convert all our interior lights to LED, and are looking forward to another rebate check. Thank you Socorro Electric Cooperative!
