We are writing to share the results of the New Mexico Public Education Department’s (PED) annual state accreditation review and approval status for 2026–27.
Following its review, the PED assigned an accreditation status of Approved or Approved with Conditions.
The annual accreditation process examines whether public schools meet department standards aligned with key legal and regulatory requirements. The PED reviews evidence across ten areas related to school programs, governance, finances, and reporting practices. The annual determination also considers the school’s most recent performance outcomes under the NM Vistas accountability system.
