CES Families, We are excited to announce the start of our Indoor Soccer Club at Central Elementary! This club is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn basic soccer skills, engage in physical activity, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Central Families, With the cold weather this month, please make sure that your children are dressed appropriately in warm weather clothing. We are seeing a lot of students in short and no jackets. We appreciate your support in this.

Central Families, We have a reading program afterschool Monday-Thursday 3:30-4:30pm that runs through January 13th-May 6th. This is open to all our students. We encourage all our students that are struggling in reading come to the program. However, it can benefit all our students. Please consider enrolling your child. It is 100% free of charge. Central Families, January 16th will mark 100 days of school. Student Council would like to do a fun 100 day challenge. We ask that students create a shirt or poster with 100 items to wear or display on the 16th for a prize. Get in on the fun! We have lots of upcoming event that our Student Council students have been planning. We have great leaders here at CES.

Central Familes, All BCS schools have been tasked at creating a parent site council at each school to increase parent involvement. I had a meeting at the beginning of the school year and did not have a big turnout. We will be having a meeting tomorrow December 13, 2024 afterschool at 3:30pm. Good morning, Eagle families, I wanted to share with you information about the Cops to Tots program that is sponsored by the Belen Police Department and will provide Christmas presents to Belen children whose family signs up for the program. You can register at the Belen Police Department. You must have a current water bill for proof of residency. The deadline to register is Friday, December 6.
