Central Elementary's return to hybrid learning reminders:
School day starts at 8:40 am. Students are not allowed on campus before 8:40 am. The parent drive-through lane for student drop-off will be open from 8:40 am to 8:55 am. Students' temperatures will be taken before they exit the car. Parents must take their child to the front door if they arrive after 8:55 am to have their temperature checked and to sign in. Parents do not drop your children off at the front door. We start dismissal at 3:25 pm. Buses will depart at 3:35 pm at the end of the day.
If your child has NEVER rode the bus yet this school year, please register with transporation if they need to ride the bus.
Take home meals will be provided for your child's 3 days of At Home Learning either on Tuesday or Friday. If you do not want to receive these meals please let the office know.
Attendance will still be recorded for the 3 days of At Home Learning. Your child's teacher will inform you of how your child will be marked present for their attendance.

Despite the challenges of remote learning, a great number of our students are really trying their best, so in order to recognize their efforts we are issuing “Soaring Eagle” awards. Each week, each teacher selects one student to honor for Excellence in behavior, attendance, character, and participation. Certificates are being mailed home and families receive a positive Principal phone call. The following students were selected for week of Feb. 5th:

Central--There is no school on Monday January 18th due to Martin Luther King Day. There will not be any live classes for remote learning on Monday. Remote learning and live classes will continue on Tuesday of next week.
