Dear 5th Grade Families,
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming school field trip to the Natural History Museum on Friday, October 23, 2026! This exciting hands-on learning experience will directly connect with our current science units, allowing students to explore prehistoric life and the wonders of our natural world. The buses will depart from the school promptly at 9:00 AM, so please ensure your child arrives on time. To guarantee a safe, educational, and memorable experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines and expectations with your child:
Behavioral Expectations: Students must act as proud ambassadors for our school by using inside voices, maintaining walking feet, and remaining with their assigned chaperone at all times. "Look but don't touch" is the rule for all fragile museum exhibits.
Required Dress Code: Students may wear their regular clothes, but no holey clothes (such as ripped jeans) are permitted. Please also ensure your child wears comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes suitable for a full day on their feet.
Lunch Requirements: You do not need to pack food, as lunch will be provided by the school for all students.
Electronics Policy: Cell phones, tablets, and gaming devices must stay at home, allowing students to stay fully engaged with the exhibits and their peers.
