My name is Heather Juarez and I am the new athletic trainer at Belen Consolidated Schools. I was born in Roswell and raised in Hagerman, NM. I attended New Mexico State University where I received my BS in Athletic Training Education. I then attended Texas State University where I received my MS in Athletic Training. While in graduate school, I was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at San Marcos High School. After graduation I accepted my first full time position at Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, TX and was a Co-Athletic Trainer there for three years. I then accepted a position at Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus Christi for another three years before moving to Belen. I have been practicing for nine years and absolutely love what I do.
