Instructor: Mrs. Shockley
The Belen High School Library is open to all students and staff from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (*sometimes longer if students are using it). It is open all day including lunches. Students must have their student ID card on their person in order to check out books. Students must have a signed Technology Agreement on file to use the computers. Printing out papers cost $.05 per page. Books are checked out for a two-week period and may be renewed for another two-weeks. There is a $.05 per day per book fine for overdue books.
Staff may reserve time in the media center by calling ext. 1358, emailing me, or dropping by in person to schedule a time for your classes. Teachers need to provide a copy of their lesson(s) plan to Mrs. Shockley. There are classes available for researching, library orientation, use of the internet, literacy skills, information literacy and inquiry learning. See me to arrange for these instructive classes. I am available for collaborative planning projects.
